Thriving on Two Spectrums – March
March 31 @ 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm PDT
Quarterly Group – Thriving on Two Spectrums
Our first gathering in January was a great success, according to both parents and kids in attendance. Join us in March for our next meeting!
Parents of transgender and gender-diverse kids (of all ages) who are also neuro-diverse, gather to learn, talk, laugh, and share insights on caring for and raising their kids. The parent discussion is facilitated by trained moderators from both ARC of King County and Gender Diversity.
Concurrently, trans and gender-diverse kids with disabilities meet in a neighboring room for facilitated activities like video games, board games, chatting, or hanging out on an exercise ball. Volunteers trained and knowledgeable in being with people with disabilities will facilitate, along with trans/non-binary adults who are also neuro-diverse.
To be sure our volunteers are ready to receive your child, we ask that everyone RSVP ahead of time.
